France is a country full of surprises. With a Mediterranean climate and warm sunshine from April to September, the charter season is long and luxurious. High season runs from July and August, with these months being very busy in places, but there are always quiet, unexplored places to discover, and where ever you go you can be assured of finding a lifestyle very France in flavour! Out of season yachts often start as early as March and go on to the end of October, when sea temperatures are still warm enough for swimming. July and August peak in high temperatures (anything between 30 - 45 degrees celcius) with daylight ending at 21:00 at midsummer. This fits in with the France lifestyle of eating, drinking and enjoying life after dark and well into the early hours!
